Blueberry Picking in Oregon City

Blueberry Picking in Oregon City

We went blueberry picking last month at my aunt’s friend’s farm and these impromptu photos came out so good! We came on a whim and were expecting some better weather (it was raining in our neck of the woods on the drive over), but the overcast sky actually worked in our favor. Harper loved picking blueberries. She’s in the phase where she loves to help, so watching her so focused was the absolute cutest thing. We’re now using the blueberries we picked for her pancakes (we froze them), which kinda brings it full circle. This was such a fun experience and I’m so happy we have these photos to look back on.

I absolutely love taking photos, but with life so hectic these days, I tend to rely on my iPhone (so much easier to pull out). I always forget how much I love taking photos (I almost feel like it’s become one of my passions), editing them, and seeing the final product. Those close up shots of her grabbing the blueberries from Mike’s hand are some of my favorite of all time. This day kinda of reignited my passion for photography, so I’m hoping to share more posts like this in the future. Do you guys like seeing content like this?
