Camel + Gray

I had been in search for a camel topcoat for nearly 2 + years. I just happened to stumble upon this one from J.Crew Factory while browsing the site and purchased it on the spot. Typically I get all my outerwear tailored, but I didn’t have to with the 00 petite (a true petite size). I’m actually pretty shocked at how well it fits and the quality. I wouldn’t say it’s the warmest coat (I don’t think topcoats are supposed to be), but the color and style are perfection. Sadly it has sold out, but I’m hoping they bring it back in an array of different colors. For the price, this coat can’t be beat.

As a side note, can someone please tell me why you can’t find an affordable topcoat anywhere? I haven’t really seen this style at many retailers and if I do, they’re all over $500?! If you’ve stumbled upon one I should know about, please let me know. And if this one comes back in stock, I’ll be sure to let you know.
