I’ve been eyeing a couple varsity jackets for some time, but hadn’t pulled the trigger yet because I wasn’t sure how much wear I’d get out of it. I didn’t want anything too heavy, as I’m all about a transition piece and versatility. Waiting definitely paid off as I spotted last season’s Madewell jacket on Ebay for a great price. The colors work for spring and winter and although it’s felt wool, it’s still lightweight. Score! I paired it here with boyfriend jeans for a casual cool vibe, but I can’t wait to style it with more feminine pieces, like a dress or skirt.
