A couple weeks ago I had the pleasure of checking out the newly remodeled Courtyard Marriott Union Square. The first thing I noticed upon entering was the modern decor. I’m a sucker for a beautiful room (who isn’t), so I knew we were off to a good start. We made it to our room and walked into the most gorgeous view of downtown San Francisco. I lived in San Francisco for 3 years and was lucky enough to have a view in all 3 of my places, but I can tell you this, it never gets old. Aside from the view, we couldn’t help but notice the cool, unique splatter wall. While it’s probably not what you would normally expect in a hotel room, it worked well with the rest of the modern and sleek decor. The location is also ideal. You’re the perfect distance between all the hustle and bustle of Union Square and cute neighborhoods like Nob Hill, Russian Hill, and Pacific Heights.
