With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, I’m excited to be teaming up with Polo Ralph Lauren to share some Valentine’s Day date ideas as well as how to dress for them. Whether you’re celebrating V-Day with a loved one or just hanging out with your friends, Mike and I have you covered in the style department. For a more casual date at your local coffee or ice cream shop throw on your favorite pair of jeans and your go-to stripe tee. To keep with the casual theme, for him, try pairing a button up shirt with his favorite jogger sweats and utility jacket. If you’re catching happy hour or going for an early dinner, throw on your comfiest maxi dress and have him transition his jeans and tee from day to night with a cool varsity jacket. Lastly, if you’re planning a romantic movie date night, try pairing a chic leather jacket over a simple drop waist dress and have him dress up his grey jeans with a button up shirt and blazer.

While Valentine’s Day is all about love, you can’t skip out on the fashion, right?

Speaking of dates, ever since going to A16 for Valentine’s Day the first year we lived together in San Francisco, Mike and I have made it a tradition and have been going every year. We’re pretty bad with traditions (we don’t even celebrate our anniversary), so this date is special. The food and wine are excellent, the service is professional, and the ambiance is romantic. Aside from being the perfect V-Day date spot, it’s also one of Mike and I’s favorite restaurants in the city. If you’re in town, I’d definitely stop in!

Do you have any Valentine’s Day traditions?

This post was sponsored by Polo Ralph Lauren, however, all opinions expressed here are my own. As always, thank you for supporting all Crystalin Marie partnerships!
