Holiday Wear: Little Black Dress

Happy Monday! How was your weekend? We shot photos on Saturday and I worked pretty much the entire day yesterday. I swear, time off work and rest is coming my way soon enough, lol. I just have to get through the next couple of weeks. The good news for you, I have some exciting content coming your way for Black Friday through Cyber Monday. This is the first time I’ll be sharing a new post Friday through Monday (woohoo). There’s going to be so many great deals, you won’t know what to do with yourself, lol. Alright, now onto more holiday wear. I wouldn’t normally gravitate toward LBD’s, but at times, the tighter the better for this growing bump. I’m not a tight dress kind of girl (tight anything, really), so I like to balance out the form fitting silhouette and short length with long sleeves and in this case, a high neck as well. It’s a great way to keep things classy. I think a lot of times, little black dresses can be mistaken for club wear. I think with the right dress and accessories it doesn’t have to be that way at all. You just need some balance, you know? This dress was a pleasant surprise. It’s actually a thicker sweater material, making it incredibly comfortable and easy to move in. I’m wearing an xs and the fit is perfect (especially the length). Since the dress is more simple, I added a pop of red on my lips and spiced things up with gold heels and a clutch. Definitely one of the easiest ways to be holiday ready.
