A couple things I want to mention in this week’s Instagram roundup. I’ve been wearing these Soludos espadrilles non-stop. I’ve been obsessed with them since I laid eyes on them, but I didn’t think they came in my size. You see, I saw them on Shopbop and Nordstrom and they all started at a size 6. I’m not going to lie, I was pretty devastated. The platform sole, leather, and the cognac color, I was dying for a pair. I stumbled upon the Soludos website a couple of weeks ago and there they were, the leather platform smoking slipper in a size 5. So dumb of me not to check the actual brand’s website. Lesson learned! If you’re looking for a pair of cool leather espadrilles, I couldn’t recommend these more.
Also, I posted the Steve Madden LECREW lace-up flats last week and they were a big hit on Instagram. The Aquazzura Christy flats are all the rage right now as are the more affordable Topshop version (come in red too). While perusing the Steve Madden website, I stumbled upon the LECREW’s and about lost my shit. I hadn’t seen them yet and to be honest, I don’t think the rest of the world had either. Sadly, I have to return my pair as they run big on me (but I think they run TTS) and the lace-up look does not work well with short athletic legs (sad face). But overall, these are uber chic, people! If you’re in the market for a pair of lace-up flats, I’d jump on these.
P.s. I’m on Snapchat! If you want to see more behind the scenes of this blog or just everyday life in the Da Silva household, be sure to follow along. Username: CrystalinMarieD
