Happy Friday! Have any fun plans this weekend? Mike and I are heading to the pumpkin patch today, then we have a couple outdoor photoshoots planned this weekend. It’s supposed to rain, but hopefully it will let up for a couple hours (this will be the story of my life for the next 6 months, wah-wah). We have Mike’s best friend’s wedding in Santa Barbara in a couple of weeks, so we’re trying to get as much work done as possible. Just when I thought we were getting settled and into a routine in the new place, bam, things are all chaotic again. I’m such a homebody who loves a routine, so you can imagine how stressed I get. Is anyone else like that? On another note, since I’ve been on the hunt for a fall appropriate dress for the wedding, I’ll be sharing a fun roundup for you next week.

In other news, my walk-in closet room is nearly finished and I’m so in love! I’ve had my closet and office in the same room for years now, so to have one room dedicated to just my closet is such a dream. We ended up going with the Ikea Pax System and overall we’re super happy with how everything turned out. Let me know if you’re interested in a review of the whole process (we did everything ourselves). Stay tuned for photos… I can’t wait to share!

One last thing (sorry if I’m rambling today). I mentioned on Instagram last week, Riley was having some ear problems. A little update. We went into the vet and he actually has a yeast infection in his right ear. This can be caused by getting water in the ears (during his bath) or due to hair overgrowth. The man has so much hair in his ears, it’s ridiculous. Regardless, it’s being treated and we’re headed back to the vet today to get his second dose. He’s been such a trooper. I know if this had happened to Lola she would definitely show more signs of pain and irritation. Our little guy is so resilient and just such a happy puppy, we’re feeling super grateful.
