A little late on this, but another Instagram roundup is here! There were so many photos from February, I actually split this post into 2. Stay tuned for the second half. Let me know if you guys are still enjoying these posts. A couple notables worth sharing. The gray Banana Republic coat is finally in stock in this exact color. It’s a more lightweight coat, perfect for spring. The color is gorgeous in-person. For reference, I’m wearing a petite xxs. I wear my Zara leather jacket all the time. It’s one of my favorite pieces in my closet. I was able to find an nearly identical version from Urban Outfitters. Keep in mind, I did have the arms tailored to fit me, so this one may run long on you if you’re petite. Tailoring tidbit – if a jacket, like this one, has details that interfere with a hem, I tend to remove them all together. The sleeves had a zipper near the wrists, but since we needed to cut into the zipper, I simply had it removed all together.
Lastly, I’ve been wearing my Marc Fisher Yale booties so much lately. They’re a nice dupe to the Acne Jensen booties, which had been on my wishlist for so long. I didn’t think they would be as flattering as they are, so you can imagine, I’m pretty happy with these (and glad I didn’t have to spend $500). They’re currently fully stocked at Nordstrom (run TTS). In general, my love for Marc Fisher shoes has really grown in the last year. You’ve seen me wear their Yenna OTK boots, I just ordered the Zala pumps in 2 new colors (add the gray and tan ones and I now have them in 4 colors), and I recently got the Rinna sandals in blush. A couple things that keep me coming back. Their shoes run TTS. I tend to have problems fitting into size 5 shoes, so when something fits, I want to order every style in every color. The quality is also awesome for the price – comfortable, soft, and beautifully made. I couldn’t recommend them more!
