Lola Westiepoo

Well, hello there! I feel like it’s been forever since I’ve posted. How was your New Years? We kept things low key, went to dinner with family, and then played games all night. Nothing crazy, but just the way I like to ring in the new year. The days leading up to NYE Lola got really sick and was taken to the emergency room. We still don’t know what caused it all, but we have a feeling she may have eaten something she wasn’t supposed to while staying with Mike’s parents. After a couple of days of having nausea and an upset stomach (the saddest thing to see), she was back to normal just in time for her buddy, Ozzy, who came to town. Having my family in town is always amazing, but last week was exactly what I needed. Eating, drinking, laughing, and just being in the moment with them was the perfect way to end the year. Right when family left and I was excited to get back into the groove of things, I woke up with the worst kinked neck I’ve ever had. I was out of commission for the last two days (like literally can’t move or do anything), and it’s still lingering today. I hope today is the last day… there’s nothing worse than starting the new year injured and unable to move. I guess my large and exciting 2015 to-do list will have to wait just a little longer.

Cheers to a happy and healthy 2015!
