Happy Monday, friends! We had a bit of crazy weekend. We’re preparing for our California trip at the end of the week, which meant working and shooting photos non-stop. Riley also has had  rash/hives since last Wednesday. He’s been to the vet twice and going back today. They’ve given us an antihistamine and steroid, but it doesn’t seem to be working. I hate seeing him in such discomfort and not acting like himself. I also hate that we can’t figure out what he’s allergic to. We’ve cleaned our house, washed his bed and blanket, given him a bath, changed his food back to his old food. It’s driving me nuts. Let me know if you have any tips/experienced this before.

On the positive side, I’ve had so much fun styling all my fall pieces from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. If you’re a summer person, you probably think I’m crazy for even thinking about fall layers, lol. But, it’s my favorite time of year and my new pieces have me so excited for the upcoming season. One of my favorite things I was able to stock up on during sale was cardigans. I’ve struggled to find petite-friendly cardigans, I want to say, my whole life. I had a reader ask if I was going to sell any of my old cardigans now that I have new ones and the truth is, I don’t have any to sell. I can’t believe I’ve gone through the fall season year after year without wearing a cardigan. Seems crazy to me considering they’re such a staple. I tried on both Halogen’s ribbed cardigans – the cashmere and regular. I ended up liking the regular ribbed cardigans (wearing both in these photos). They were shorter and more fitted. With that being said, the cashmere version is really nice too (super soft and warm and still in-stsock). My cardigans are on the verge of selling out, but be sure to check back often to see if they’ve been restocked (because that has been happening).
