Nordstrom New Arrivals
Every week or so I like to check Nordstrom’s website for new arrivals. I didn’t start doing this until maybe this year and I think it’s been a blessing and a curse. I love finding new pieces and being able to snag them in my size before they sell out, but on the other hand, my bank account isn’t loving it. It’s like I’m shopping every other day (yikes!). Two of the main reasons I shop at Nordstrom so much – the variety in products at different price points and the quick and affordable shipping (only $9 for two day and $15 for next day, otherwise it’s free standard shipping). The amazing customer service doesn’t hurt either.

I’ll fill you in on a little fashion blogger secret. The easiest way to shop the latest trends is by shopping Topshop & Trend. Simply hover over Women on the homepage. On the right hand side there’s a category called Featured. Under Featured, click Topshop and Trend. From there I like to click on New Arrivals (on the left hand side). Here you will find all the latest trend pieces that all the bloggers are wearing and most everything is super affordable.
I recently picked up this striped off-the-shoulder dress. The soft blue color is perfect for summer and it’s just so easy to wear. It’s fully lined and hits at a great length (for us petites). I would say it runs TTS in general, but if you’re petite you may want to size down. I’m wearing an xs and while it fits, it’s slightly oversized in the torso/width of the dress. You can easily wear this casually like I did with sandals, dress it up with heels, or even wear it as a cover up. Let’s also talk about these slide sandals I’ve been wearing non-stop. I was initially looking for slide sandals with bows, but stumbled upon these and fell in love. The nude color is super flattering and they’re actually really comfortable. The leather is soft right out of the box and they come in black, white, nude, and copper. The smallest size was a 5.5, so they run slightly big on me, but nothing too crazy (runs TTS). Since there’s only one strap with little support, I wouldn’t say these are walking shoes. But they’re great to throw on to go to lunch/dinner or out for little spurts of walking. These will be on major repeat all summer!
