Until recently, I never made it a point to shop petites. If it was obvious and right in front of me, I would browse the selection, but I never made it a priority. I was always afraid the selection would be limited and I’d be missing out. I’m so glad I got over this because making it a point to shop petites has changed my life. No but seriously, it’s been a life saver. Pieces fit so much better and I spend a whole-lot-less money on tailoring everything. While I’m still a novice when it comes to where to shop when it comes to petites, I’m happy to report Nordstrom has quite the selection. Pieces range from coats and jackets to jeans and sweaters and the best part, sizes range from xxs-xl and bottoms start at 23 and 00. From what I’ve tried on thus far, I’ve been pleasantly surprised with how everything fits. The arm lengths have been perfect and the pant legs hit at just the right spots.

I recently stumbled upon this Halogen deep v-neck sweater and I’m obsessed! The neckline doesn’t drop down too low and it’s oversized without being too big. It comes in regular and petite and in an assortment of different colors. And then there’s this pencil skirt. The white color is perfect for spring and I love, love the texture. I’d normally be hesitant to wear a white skirt for obvious reasons, but this one from Halogen is actually extremely versatile and the texture really adds the finishing touch.

If you’ve been struggling with finding petite options, I highly recommend checking out Nordstrom’s selection. I think you’ll be surprised with the amount of options they have and you won’t be disappointed with the fit.
