Sauvie Island Christmas Tree Farm
If you watched my Stories last week, you know this day didn’t go as planned. Last minute we had to find a different tree farm because the one we we’re going to was closed. We ended up at the Sauvie Island Christmas tree farm, which was super cute and adorable. No one was there, which was perfect for family photos. Just when I thought the day was saved, Harper decided she didn’t want to participate and cried the entire time. I guess that’s life with a baby, right? The day ran longer than we anticipated and we were way past Harper’s nap time. I had to do all the things in the car to not let her sleep – pulling out all the baby wipes did the trick. Luckily, we got some decent photos from the day and Harper made it all the way home and was able to nap in her crib.

This is our first time at a tree farm. It’s crazy to even write that. The last couple of years in Oregon, we haven’t made it out due to rain and in California, you don’t really go to tree farms. Farms aren’t very close let alone cute. But, I’m hoping to make picking up our wreath and taking family photos at a Christmas tree farm a family tradition now that we have Harper. And hopefully, this day will go a lot better in years to come, lol.
If you’re local, this spot was adorable. All the smaller trees are in the front, they have this little area with the red truck and market lights, and in the back they have all the large trees (the ones no one buys). A large space and a great spot for kiddos to run around.
