Still Going Strong in Black

Two things about this look. One, I’m clearly having a moment with hats and I’m so not mad at it! This one from Missguided runs big (at least for me), but I’ll share a secret on how to make big hats work for anyone in a later post. The other thing about today’s look, I can’t seem to get enough black right now… which is so odd because hi, it’s summer! It makes me feel like I’m finally a grown up because as we all know, grown ups wear black, right? No, but in all seriousness, black is chic, easy, sophisticated, a staple, versatile, timeless and don’t get me started on those all black ensembles, so good! Oh how the times have changed… I used to force myself to buy color, but I think I’ve finally realized I’m most comfortable and confident in some of my absolute favorite black pieces! Gotta just let it happen…
