Still on That BR Kick
Banana Republic sweater, Banana Republic Sloan pants, DVF pumps (old, similar), Banana Republic accordion bag, Ray-Ban aviators, Daniel Wellington watch
I think I wrote a post a year or so ago about how much I’ve been loving Banana Republic. Ever since Marissa Webb took over (which I believe her Spring 2016 will be her last collection in the Creative Director role. More on this here), it seems styles are more fashion forward and chic. Long time BR customers might not be fans of this, but I’m all for it. Hopefully, the whole modern take on tailored classics won’t change too much once Webb takes on her new role at BR. I also love how the petites fit. Their 00 petite fit right off the rack, which has been huge for me, considering for a second there I was getting everything tailored. I recently tried their new Sloan pants in 00p and I love the fit. They do run an inch or 2 long on me, so I actually have them cuffed in these photos. But the waist and hips fit amazing. They suck me in in all the right spots and even give me a little bit of a butt. The Sloan fit similar to their skinny jeans, but if you’re looking for more of a trouser fit, they have 3 other styles to choose from.
I’m also obsessed with this ruffle sweater. It’s quite thick and runs short, which I’m usually not a fan of, but I just love the ruffle detail. For reference I’m wearing a regular xs. This pullover comes in 4 other colors including this striped option, which I love! If you’ve had anything on your wishlist recently, you’re in luck, they’re currently offering 40% off your purchase today with code SPRINGIT.
