Summer Edit: Dresses

Ba&sh Paris dress xs, Madewell denim jacket small, Anine Bing sunglasses (old), Loewe tote (similar), Hermes Oran sandals 35 (similar)

It’s not summer without dresses, am I right? To be honest, I’ve already bought enough dresses to last me the rest of the year, but when that’s all that really fits, you’re allowed to go a little overboard, ha. I’ve been posting so many cute dresses on the blog and in the LTK app, but everything is selling out super fast. I recently ordered a handful of new dresses from Nordstrom and I’m excited to share them with you. Nordstrom always has such a great selection of dresses, both at high and low price points. They have everything from casual dress, to wedding guests and mother of the bride dresses, to the perfect cocktail dress . I’m sharing 5 dresses that will take you through the summer months.

I can never say no to a white embroidered dress. White dresses are my weakness, add a little embroidered detail and it’s over. The Byrd Broderie Anglaise Midi dress from Ba&sh is so pretty and comfortable. I was not expecting it to be this comfy. It is a little roomy, with my bump, so if you’re between sizes, or if you want it to fit more snug, you could size down. I absolutely love the length for my 5ft petite frame. No hemming, no washing and drying, it hits at the perfect spot along my leg. I’ve never worn Ba&sh before, but I can say, the quality is great, and I’m already a fan.

ASTR Label dress xs
Reformation dress xs

ASTR Label Dress xs – I thought this dress may be too puffy for me, but it actually lays nicely. It has a texture and sheen to it in person and when you move around it makes noise. Just something to keep in mind. The xs fits very TTS, so I would say it’s great for petites! The band just under the boobs is a little snug, but I’m also expanding everywhere, so it could be just me, lol. It is lined, but nude undergarments are probably best.

Reformation Dress xs- Reformation is always hit or miss for me and I was pleasantly surprised by this dress. The white and blue floral is so cute and summery, but isn’t over the top. The length is great on petites. The straps do run long, though. I saw a little trick from Jean from Extra Petite, so I’m going to try it out before deciding to keep or return. I love the print and style so much and I need a few more short dresses in my closet.

The Great dress 0
Staud dress xs

The Great Dress 0 – This dress is a dream! This is not your average gingham dress. It’s soft, lightweight, and flows beautifully. It’s pricey, but it’s so beautiful and feels so good on the body. The straps are adjustable, which is always a plus for petites. I’m wearing the smallest size and this will work throughout my pregnancy and after. If you’ve been thinking about this dress, go for it!

Staud Dress xs – I’ve been eyeing this dress for over a year now. I just love the shape, detail, and silhouette. It’s so simple, but so elevated. Sadly, it’s long on my frame, but I’m still debating if I want to keep it, wash and dry it, in hopes it will shrink a little bit. This style is great for a growing bump and the pockets are a huge selling point. I should also mention, you can wear this as a coverup too!

Special thank you to Nordstrom for partnering on this post.
