I’ve always heard and read how important it was to have a white button-down in your closet. For the longest time I associated them with work wear, so I kinda, sorta ignored said information. Yes, I’ve had this one from the Gap in my closet for years, but haven’t really loved it or worn it until recently. They say with age comes knowledge and that’s exactly what happened with the white button-down for me. I know I’m late to the game, but I’ve finally embraced them. They’re so many versions and options out there, so I think it takes the right fit and style to make you become a believer.  As you all know, I’m all for a versatile piece and the white button-down is exactly that. You can wear them dressed up or down, tucked or untucked, layered or by itself, with ripped cut offs or with tailored trousers, I’m sure I can go on and on. Do you see what I’m getting at here? The best part about it all, the button-down is sophisticated and effortless which means you’re bound to look chic no matter how you style it.
