Top Products I Tried & Loved in 2020

I usually do a roundup of my favorite looks from the past year, but I’m not sure how that’s very helpful and insightful for you. So, instead I’m sharing the top products I tried and loved in 2020. These are the products I truly LOVE and use frequently. These are the products that had such an impact on my life, they’ve been incorporated into my daily routine. I hope you enjoy!

Brooklinen Sheets – I’ve tried all their sheets, except the luxe sateen, and they’re an absolute game-changer. Mind you, I know not everyone needs luxe sheets, but if you’re into these things and can really appreciate luxury in the bed, you need to try Brooklinen sheets. The Percale are great for summer (very crips and hotel-like), I’m obsessed with the washed linen, and we’re currently enjoying the heathered cashmere in the winter (very cozy and warm). Great sheets might be bougie, but until you try, don’t knock it, lol.

Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask – I use this every night before bed. I’ll do all my skincare and then put this mask on. I treat it more like a moisturizer and don’t typically wash it off. This is so incredibly hydrating. I love that it’s clean, it smells nice, and it’s not greasy. On days I don’t do any makeup, but still want my skin to look amazing and even, I’ll do my morning skincare routine and then apply this. My skin looks amazing when I have this on.

Beautycounter Vitamin C Serum – I was sent this product and fell in love. It’s clean, effective, and I love the smell. It has brightened up my skin and really helped with my dark spots. This is the one I use as an alternative to my Farmacy Vitamin C and I’ll use it during my daytime skincare routine.

Beautycounter Radiance Serum – I was sent this with the vitamin C above and also really love it! I tried the serum and vitamin c combo later in the year and found that they both also worked for keeping my skin hydrated. I use this serum every night. So, between the Farmacy vitamin c, Beautycounter vitamin c, and this peptide serum, my skin looks flawless with makeup (not dry and flakey, in fact it’s dewey and beautiful). If you’re looking for a great duo, I would highly recommend the BC vitamin c and serum.

Ferm Living Wine Carafe and Glass Set – Everytime I share these glasses on Stories, I get so many questions. I’m an aesthetics girl and these are just so chic. Anything from Ferm Living is, really. These glasses are very thin and dainty though, so if you’re clumsy or rough with your dishes, these may be a little too delicate. I happen to love my little Ferm Living collection.

Jonathan Simkai Masks – These are the BEST petite masks I’ve been able to find. And they’re breathable, beautiful, and neutral. If you’re looking for similar masks, but don’t need petite, these from Banana Republic are also fantastic (I have both).

Ritual Vitamins – Another brand we partnered with in 2020 (and will do so in 2021) and another brand I can’t say enough good things. I have massive issues swallowing any form of pill, which makes taking vitamins hard. These are an absolute game-changer. They’re vegan, mint-essence, and go down smoothly. I don’t think I can ever use anything else.

Clare Vivier Fanny Pack (croc link is gone) – A CV fanny pack was on my radar for a very long time. I hunted down this croc style on Poshmark and I’m so glad I did because it’s my go-to bag and has been ever since I got it in the mail. As a mom, there’s no greater bag than the fanny pack (hello hands-free!). I also love that this bag is very roomy for its size and has an easy to open zipper. I’m hoping they’ll bring fresh styles for summer because I’m 1000% getting another one.

Our Place Always Pan – One of our top sellers for 2020! Wow, this pan went viral for sure. I know 4 people that just live down the street that all have this pan. I was just texting with my gf about it last night. Yes, we love it – it’s lightweight and you can cook pretty much anything in it (can’t go in the oven). It cleans and holds up well. I’ve been using it for a while now and the only downfall I’ve experienced, it’s not big enough to make some of our meals. I don’t use it for any meals with noodles – stir frys or pasta because it’s too small. Aesthetics wise, it’s very chic. I want the black color!

Keurig Coffee Maker – This was another partnership we did in 2020 and we came out of it loving our Keurig. It’s the product we never knew we needed. It’s so easy to use, isn’t an eyesore on our counter, and it really feels like the best cup of coffee. We started using the reusable pod, which is great for reducing waste.

Everlane Cotton-Linen Sweater– I was obsessed with this sweater in black 2 years ago and ended up getting the beige color last summer. The texture and material make this the perfect summer sweater. The fit is perfectly oversized, ugh, I just love it so much.

Everlane Nude Sandals – I wore these a ton during the summer. They’re so comfortable, the leather is butter soft, and the color goes with everything! I wasn’t sure if I would love the style, but they were the sandals I never knew I needed. The color is also super flattering on the legs and makes them look a million miles long. They run TTS.

Nike Air Max 270’s – I got these during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and I’ve been wearing them non-stop since. I had a pair of 270’s a couple years ago in another colorway, but didn’t love them, so I sold them. This time around, I realized I needed to size up a full size for the best fit. These are hands down the most comfortable lifestyle sneakers I’ve owned and I love the chic style. The black is elevated and versatile. I did just get this colorway too and I’m obsessed!

Jenni Kayne Mules – I wore these SO much in 2020. They’re my absolute favorite right now and I’m sure that won’t change in 2021. They run TTS, are great quality, and super comfortable.

Farmacy Cherry Vitamin C – I tried this at the beginning of 2020 and it changed my life. My skin used to be super dry and flakey, no matter what product I tried. Vitamin C isn’t technically a hydrator, but I think since I wasn’t using any vitamin C my skin was just desperate for anything. When I run out and I don’t have anything on-hand, my skin goes back to being dry and flakey. I use this every night. Let’s just say, I always have this on hand.

Brooklinen Super-Plush Towels – We worked with Brooklinen all year, so we were able to try a lot of their products and wow their super plush towels are where it’s at. They’re plush and thick, absorbent, and all around great quality. I don’t think I can use anything different.

Equilibria CBD – I’ll do a more in-depth post on this, but Mike and I have both really enjoyed trying and taking Equilibria. I really didn’t think CBD products were for me – I’m not in chronic pain. But, Mike uses it every night to help him with sleep and I take it more regularly when I’m stressed with work. It works and has the best calming feeling.

Supergoop Sunscreen – Last summer was the first time I tried Supergoop sunscreen and omg, I love this SO much. When we were in Black Butte, I only used this on my face and then added some mascara. I love the color/coverage it provides and the way it feels more like skincare than it does sunscreen. This is 100% my warm weather must-have. It also leaves my skin looking so dewy and pretty.

Physicians Formula Bronzer – This was more of a recent purchase, but the second I put it on, I knew it would become a favorite. This bronzer is the best I’ve ever tried. It goes on SO nice, almost has a creamy effect. The smell is a little strong (I know many of you really love the smell), but I’ve kinda gotten used to it. It’s clean and very affordable. YOU NEED THIS.
