Very Parisian

When I got dressed I thought classic, but after seeing these photos I feel very Parisian. The color combo, perhaps? Or just the classic stripes with a trench look. Either way, I’m digging it. More recently I’ve been into the whole idea of wearing black pants casually. I used to see black pants and immediately think office wear or business, but not so much anymore. Mostly, I just love the fit of these pants. They’re tight around the butt and thighs and taper slightly toward the ankle. They also sit at the perfect spot on my ankles, which is very rare with my short legs. They don’t look as good with these lace-up flats, but swap a pair of nude pumps or flats and you got a killer combo.

On another note, I don’t know if I’ve talked about these Halogen lace-up flats on the blog yet, but they’re my favorite! So comfortable, no need to break them in. They’re also super affordable (under $90) and come in 5 other colors. If you’ve been thinking about adding lace-up flats to your spring/summer rotation, I would highly recommend these.
