Finally, The Perfect Satchel

{Gap tee, SheInside trench coat c/o, 7FAM coated jeans, J.Crew Etta pumps, Tory Burch Robinson satchel (the midday option), Brooklyn Designs Infinity necklace c/o}

I was on a major search for the perfect black leather satchel for quite some time (I think I mentioned it a couple of times here on the blog). Everything I had been seeing was too small or not what I wanted to spend. I even took the plunge on the Sole Society Weekender bag thinking I could pull it off has a handbag. It ended up being too big (duh), but I kept it anyway because the bag is absolutely stunning, the perfect structure, and super soft. As a side note, if they made this bag at 13 or so inches wide, it would be a big seller. Get on it, people! I had seen this Tory Burch Robinson satchel in a couple of photos and knew it was the ideal size I was looking for… but of course, they don’t make this size anymore (wah wah). I went on an Ebay search and there she was. I had a tough time with the seller, but in the end I made it mine and could not be happier! For reference, this bag was used, but in great/almost perfect condition. I got it for almost 50% off the retail price.

I got a bunch of questions on Instagram about tips on using Ebay. I wrote a post about it here, but I may have to do another… if you have any questions you want me to answer, please leave them in the comments.

Happy Friday!

    The bag looks gorgeous! I relate to your search woes– I wanted a creamy brown leather satchel and searched for at least a year before splurging for the perfect one from Madewell. When you know, you know!

      I was thinking about the Madewell satchel too… went and tried it on in store and still felt like it was too small for my big bag obsession lol :)

      I saw the Natassia bag and thought about it, but was too nervous it was going to be too small. I wish it was the identical design as the weekender :)

    I still can’t believe you scored this bag on eBay Crystalin. The Tory Burch Robinson collection are the most gorgeous bags and you’re so right about the size. This one is perfect!

    That trench is perfect! I have been looking for one for so long, but they are always too big! And that bag, what an amazing score!

    I love that trench! For the price I wondered what the quality is like. Also, what size did you get? I’m small through the shoulders, but a little bigger through the hips.

      This trench has a bit of shine to it which I don’t love. It’s really lightweight, so if your looking for something to keep you warm, this one probably isn’t it. All of SheInside coats run for petite sizes, at least that’s what I think. Most of the time, the arm lengths and shoulders fit me perfectly and I’m petite. I’m normally an xs in everything and I got this in small. Hope that helps :)
