Last week Natalie, Kate, Jillian, and I finally had the opportunity to get together for a girls lunch. I chose to meet at Pizzeria Delfina because a. the food is amazing b. it’s near my old hood and c. I just love the ambiance and whole experience of dining here. And to top it off, the ladies had never been, so it was a win win all around. I eat Italian pizza a whole lot (which I shouldn’t bc I’m gluten intolerant) and this place ranks high on my favorites list when it comes to taste, texture, and chewiness. I also really love their tricolore salad, it’s so light and fresh, perfect for spring and summer! If you’re in the area and looking for Italian thin crust pizza, stop by Pizzeria Delfina. I promise it won’t disappoint! Plus, the Delfina restaurants are kind of a thing in sf.

In addition to the amazing food, it was so great to catch up with some of my closest blogging (turned real life) friends. Any time we get together it’s a good time. We discuss personal stuff and what’s going on in our lives, talk blogging and social media, and bounce ideas off one another. One of the many things I’m thankful for when it comes to the whole online community is the chance to meet and become friends with like-minded women. These girls keep me inspired, understand what it takes to keep a blog/business running, the struggles, the hard work, the investment, and we can all get a good laugh when it comes to capturing the perfect Instagram shot… it’s a whole other world, but I wouldn’t have it any other way! I am just so grateful to have them in my life.

For someone who rarely puts herself out there to meet people, I’m so glad I did with these girls. This is a prime example of when you step outside your comfort zone amazing things can and will happen and awesome people will enter your life. As much as I love to build relationships online, if you get the chance to meet bloggers or readers in person, do it. The connections you make and the conversations you’ll have will go far beyond the online space. #grateful

The pizza looks incredible!! Looks like it was a great place for lunch (and snapping some photos, since the lighting looks perfect).

It’s amazing that some of your good friends in life started out as blogging strangers. I feel like there’s some people I’ve met through blogging already that I feel a good friendship with and would love to meet in real life. I haven’t had this opportunity yet, but hope to as I continue working on my blog! Very inspiring :)
