Look what’s back! I haven’t done a 1 Piece 3 Ways post in roughly two years. As we head into fall, I thought it might be fun to bring it back and show how some of our closet staples can be worn different ways. It’s kinda like my way of proving just how versatile classics and neutrals can be. In today’s roundup, I’m taking my favorite summer espadrilles and showing you how I will be wearing them as we transition to fall. California still has a couple more months of warm weather, so even though September is right around the corner, I know it won’t be all jeans and booties over here. Getting dressed during that whole in between weather thing can be tricky, but with a few tips, you’re bound to nail it. I will be doing an entire post on how to transition your summer wardrobe to fall, but for now, I’ll say, start adding layers and reaching for darker tones and denim.

To be honest, this in between stage is one of my favorites. This is one of the only times of year when you can start adding layers and dimension to your favorite summer outfits. As weather permits, start adding one fall item to your summer look. Not only does this help keep you warm for those cool nights, but you’ll start looking season appropriate without looking like you stepped out of a fall catalogue.
