Tuesday’s post was all about fall essentials, so today I want to talk about my 4 absolute must-haves, the pieces I tend to lean on the most during this time of year. This camel blazer is new, but I’ve already worn it multiple times and see myself reaching for it a lot this season. There’s mixed reviews when it comes to the Regent blazer, but I’ve actually found it runs TTS (wearing petite 00). It’s extremely fitted, but I happen to like that when it comes to my blazers. Blazers are a great layer in the fall as it is, but this camel color brings it to a whole other level. It such a great muted tone that’s surprisingly versatile. It pairs really well with any neutral color and can be dressed up or down.

Another piece I’ve been reaching for a ton lately, vintage/high waisted jeans. Honestly, they’re my new favorite. I never in a million years thought I would like this style or even think they would work on my short frame, but I’ve found a couple pairs I love and I’m running with it. If you’re looking to update your skinny jeans, I would definitely try a vintage style. Levis has a couple affordable options and I’ve also been loving these and these from Topshop. If you’re petite, these are awesome!

Loafers are another must-have this fall. You know how much I love little masculine touches in my outfits, so this trend is one of my favorites. I love them paired with cropped pants or denim, but also think they’re great with dresses or skirts (it’s all about balance). Loafers keep your outfit looking polished and they’re a sophisticated alternative to basic flats. I’m obsessed with the Capri Mule from Kristin Cavallari. The suede is beautiful in-person and they’re so incredibly comfortable. They run TTS and don’t need any breaking-in. If you’ve been thinking about getting them, don’t hesitate. They’re one of my favorite purchases this season.

Lastly, the scarf/wrap. What would we all do without them? They’re one of the easiest ways to transition a look and one of the greatest layering pieces ever invented (especially the cashmere ones). Before the weather gets super cold, I like to keep my scarves as lightweight as possible. Not only do they serve as an extra layer for warmth, but throwing them over your shoulder as a wrap or a poncho adds a new element to just a basic look. This wool and cashmere scarf from Nordstrom is a must for all you scarf lovers. It’s incredibly soft, warm, and comes in 26 other colors. I will say, the tan nomad is really pretty in-person and super versatile.

I’m warning you now, you will definitely see all 4 pieces on high rotation in the next couple of months. You’ve heard my 4 fall must-haves, now it’s your turn. If you have anything in your closet you tend to lean on this time of year, I’d love to hear about them.
