Turtlenecks + Banana Republic Petites

I have not worn or even owned a turtleneck in over 10 years. I wrote them off in high school after seeing one too many male friends pair them with chunky Steve Madden shoes (remember the black ones?). Times have changed since then and so have my feelings toward turtlenecks. Paired right, turtlenecks can be chic and not to mention super warm. Over the holidays I was happy to welcome this petite navy Banana Republic version to my closet. The fit, texture, weight, length, I fell in love the second I tried it on! The turtleneck is currently on sale with an extra 35% off in regular black and navy and petite cream.

Speaking of petites, I’ve been gravitating toward Banana Republic petites a lot lately. The hems, arm lengths, and shoulder width fit me so perfectly, it’s hard to resist. Over the weekend I tried on this blouse (p xxs) and this linen tee (p xs) and the fit on both were amazing! This boatneck sweater looked super luxe in person, but sadly, they didn’t have my size. With Marissa Webb running things now, I have a feeling I’ll be doing some major damage in their petite section this year. Can we talk about the Summer 2015 preview? So good!
