A Glimpse of Spring

Frame Striped button down blouse

You guys, we had a glimpse of spring over the weekend! Temps were in the 60’s and I can’t even tell you how happy that makes me. I never thought weather had such a big impact on my mood, but it so does and I’m pumped. Winters can last very long in Oregon (sometimes we skip spring all together), so these are all good signs. Higher temps means I’m finally sharing spring outfits here on the blog, yay.

This outfit reminds of my pre-Harper days, lol. I don’t wear button down blouses often, especially now that I’m a mom, but when I do, it has to be stripes. I’m such a sucker for stripes of all kind and this top is stunning! It’s such a classic print, but makes a statement at the same time. It’s great to dress up, wear casually, or even in the workplace. To keep things mom-friendly, I threw on my favorite mules. I get so many questions about the Gucci Princetown mules and I can’t recommend them enough. An investment for sure, but they’re so classic, comfortable, and easy to wear. If you’re going to splurge on a shoe, these are it! I bought these jeans at the end of last year and I’m obsessed with the fit. I did cut the hems, but everything else fits like a glove. They’re high-waisted, flattering along the legs, have a good stretch, and the rips land right on my knees. If you’re petite and looking for a medium wash skinny jean with rips, these are it!

I can’t wait to start sharing more spring outfits with you guys! If you’re in the process of updating your wardrobe for spring, be sure to check out nordstrom.com. They have the best selection when it comes to designer and accessible brands in one place (love that they started selling Stuad and Simon Miller). And as always, they offer free shipping and returns and their 2 day shipping is only $12!

Special thank you to Nordstrom for partnering on this post.
