Spring Denim

Now that we’re inching closer to better weather days, I could not be more excited for spring and spring fashion. Every season I like to purchase a new go-to piece to help inspire that season’s wardrobe. It’s usually either a pair of shoes or jeans. Since I’m back to my pre-pregnancy size and so excited about wearing jeans, I had been on the search for the perfect pair of light wash jeans for spring and summer. I hadn’t had a ton of luck, so I enlisted my new stylist from Trunk Club, Madison, to help with the search.

For those that are unfamiliar with Trunk Club, let me tell you how it works. Basically, you create a style profile, chat with your stylist, discover new brands, go over hand picked items, and receive a trunk full of clothes. You pay for what you keep and send back everything else. If you’re not too savvy with online shopping, get overwhelmed with what’s in style or on trend, or simply need to get re-inspired, this service is awesome. They do all the hard work for you. And since it’s a Nordstrom company, shipping and returns are always free.

I worked with Madison to create a Trunk dedicated to neutral spring pieces. It took us several tries, but I found the perfect spring jeans. These GRLFRND jeans are a new discovery and I’m so glad we found them because I’m OBSESSED! I don’t typically gravitate toward super high waisted jeans, but these are awesome and super flattering. The light wash and distressing are perfect for warm weather. I was also leaning toward a pair of Sam Edelman loafers, but Madison sent these Sam Edelman mules instead. I wasn’t sure I was going to love these in this color, but  they’re perfect and incredibly comfortable. Both will be staples in my spring wardrobe!
