A Simple Way to Decorate for Halloween
One of the biggest blessing this holiday season has been teaming up with Walmart to share themed home decor content. I’m so bad at decorating for the seasons, I only really decorate for Christmas, so the fact that I’ve already created a harvest tablescape and now a Halloween themed bar cart, I’m feeling so accomplished and proud of myself. I actually love getting creative and decorating, it’s the planning, buying, and conceptualizing that keeps me from doing anything. Anyone else like this?
With Halloween around the corner, I thought I’d share a very easy, yet festive way to get into the holiday spirit. If you’re anything like me and become a little intimidated when it comes to holiday decorating, this post is perfect for you. It’s simple, concentrated in one area, and very doable. While, I kept my front porch more neutral with an overall fall vibe, our bar cart is taking on more of a moody, Halloween vibe. I perused Walmart’s Halloween decor selection and found these goblets (which I really love), this skull, this skeleton, and these bats. I added a few black elements I had around the house and picked up some berry colored flowers and voila. Since a bar cart is such a small space, everything came together really easily. If you’re having a dinner party, friends over for drinks, or simply want a festive space, this is the perfect moody setup for October.
