As promised I’m sharing pictures from my bachelorette weekend. This was more of a girls getaway than your typical bachelorette party, but to be honest, that’s more my flavor. It was so nice hanging out with my favorite girls in one setting. 3 of them flew in from out of town, so it was an extra special treat! We hung out at the house the first night (airbnb), drank champagne and made dinner. The second day was all about wine tasting. Our first stop was at VJB Vineyards & Cellars. Since I’m a big fan of Italian food and wine, I knew we had to make reservations in the courtyard. It has that whole Tuscan feel to it and who doesn’t love a little food with their wine? Our next stop was Chateau St. Jean. The grounds here are absolutely beautiful! The website does not do it justice. I can definitely see myself coming back here with Mike and Lola and hanging out on the lawn. At this point, I don’t recall whether or not we liked the wine (oops).
Later that evening we had dinner at Enoteca Della Santina’s in downtown Sonoma. We had reservations at Campo Fina in Healdsburg, but after a full day of wine tasting we got a late start to the night. None of us had heard of this place, but to our surprise, the food was amazing! Highly recommend it if you’re in the area.
We capped off the trip on Sunday at The Fremont Diner per Victoria’s recommendation. This place has so much character and while it’s a diner, it’s so not at the same time. It’s locally sourced and high-quality ingredients meets home-style country cooking. Everyone loved their meal and I must say, their homemade strawberry lemonade was AMAZING!
It appears all we did was eat and drink (which I’m so fine with), but there was a ton of fun conversations, lots of laughs, and even more love. I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. I can’t wait to celebrate my big day with these girls!
