Anytime I get approached to try a new-to-me denim brand, I feel like I hit the jackpot. Not only do I love collaborating with brands I love and adore (hello denim!), but I also like trying out new pieces and sharing my feedback with all of you. DL1961 Premium Denim is a technology-based denim company that creates jeans to make your butt look good (okay, you sold me already!). Powered by revolutionary DLX technology, DL jeans have 4-way stretch and never sag, bag, or stretch out. I tried the Emma Legging in Berlin and I could not be more obsessed! The jeans fit TTS, are incredibly soft and comfortable, suck-in in all the right areas, but still allow you to move around. Although these are legging jeans (faux front pockets), they fit similar to very skinny skinny jeans (the material is thick and has substance). I’m all about dark wash skinny jeans and the Berlin is spot on with just enough fade around the thighs. See all the washes and colors here.
Mike got in on the action as well and tried the Russell Slim Straight jeans in Bandon from DL1961 Premium Denim’s new men’s collection, made with SILVADUR technology. The SILVADUR treatment protects the denim from odor causing bacteria that builds up on the jeans when worn which means less washes, and a great, long lasting, and comfortable fit. The Russell fits TTS and are a great option for the men in your life looking for a slim straight fit that is comfortable in the hip and thigh, with a slight taper from the knee down.
