J.Crew Wintress Coat at Cathedral Park
When I first started researching places to eat/see/do in Oregon, Cathedral Park was one of the first places that caught my eye. The park lays under the St. Johns bridge (which is a must see as well) and is surrounded by greenery and breathtaking views. If you’re ever visiting, I would highly recommend stopping by. The structural legs of the bridge are so massive and beautiful, you’re bound to get some great photos.
In outfit related news, I’ve been wearing this J.Crew Wintress puffer coat non-stop since moving here. Initially, I was hesitant to buy the coat because the reviews said sizing was weird. I looked around elsewhere, but always found myself coming back to the J.Crew site. Once I decided the Wintress coat was the one, it sold out. Just my luck, right? After weeks and maybe even a couple of months of waiting, it came back in stock and snagged it immediately. After reading reviews, I settled on petite xs (normally a petite xxs in J.Crew) and the fit is perfect! The length is great, it’s super warm, and I love the removable hood and faux fur. It can get super windy here, so I love the longer length for protection and with the amount of rain we get, the hood has been extremely useful. The coat has been so practical I think I want it in navy as well … next winter perhaps, or maybe I’ll look on ebay. If you’ve been in the market for a puffer coat, I would highly recommend this one. It’s currently on sale with only small sizes left, but be sure to check the site every once in a while, I know sizes come back in stock.
