I recently teamed up with Shoes.com to share some of my favorite places in Portland. While I still have so much more to explore, I have become pretty fond of a few spots. Cherry Blossom trees are epic here in the spring and there’s no better place to see them then down by the waterfront. This is an absolute must-do while visiting in the spring. The long row of never ending trees and petals is absolutely stunning. Eating vegan, I’m always on the hunt for new restaurants or eateries. When I found out Blue Star Donuts had vegan options I knew I’d be in trouble. Yes, I go about once a week… but I promise Mike and I share all our donuts. They have some fun flavors and I love that they use real, high quality ingredients.

Another favorite is NW 23rd Avenue. It’s one of the cutest streets lined with restaurants, coffee shops, and boutiques. Nothing beats a Saturday afternoon on 23rd having lunch with girlfriends and stopping into a few of your favorite shops. Barista, a new favorite coffee shop of mine, which also happens to be on 23rd. I’ve tried a handful of coffee shops here and this one is by far my favorite. Not only is the coffee amazing, but the decor is incredibly chic. Think brass and marble and all that good stuff!

One thing I’ve noticed after living here for almost 3 months now is that you do a lot of walking. Comfortable shoes are a must and Shoes.com has a ton of chic options to choose from. I love these flat espadrilles for casual wear (they’re super comfortable) and these wedges are great when you want that added height but don’t want to sacrifice comfort. I have a feeling I’ll be living in these both all season.

Be sure to check out more spring styles from Shoes.com!
