September’s Mood

At the beginning of the year I decided to take a step back from blogging. I still blogged, but not as frequently. This decision was based around my time as a working mom. I was overworked, spending way too much time on blog post that weren’t great, and I needed to reevaluate where I needed to put most of my time. I decided I would focus more on Instagram and the LTK app and it was a huge success. Our business is doing better than ever and I’m also able to spend more time with my family. With that being said, I had this itch to get back to blogging regularly last month. This itch also brought on the urge to revamp the blog and brand. I’m currently in the process of redoing my website and hiring on a few employees to help grow Crystalin Marie LLC. It’s all exciting times here and for those of you who still stop by, I’m so very grateful for you and lookout for exciting changes.

Instead of waiting for the new website to be done to start putting out new content, I’ve slowly been getting back to blogging regularly. I really want this space to be a resource for you on all things Crystalin Marie. You’ll see more well rounded posts that you can always look back to for reference. I want this to be a place where you can get lost in all the helpful posts – fashion, beauty, home, parenting, and life and all the in-between. I can’t wait for you to see my complete vision once everything is done.

Speaking of new things, I’m kicking off one of my new series, Monthly Mood Board. Remember back when I used to share my Weekend Recaps with you? Talking about life and sharing bits and pieces of our days. Well, this is sort of the same idea, but just not every week. At the beginning of every month, I’ll share my mood for the month – what I’m loving, what I’m looking forward to, any projects we have going on, and an update on life. I’m super pumped for this series, but as always, I’d love to hear any feedback you may have.

Fall Fashion

I’ve been slowly ordering things for cooler weather and it has me super pumped for fall. I say this every year, but fall is just 100% better when it comes to clothes and getting dressed. I just feel overall more inspired. I can’t wait to start showing you what I ordered.

Harper’s Fall Wardrobe

I just shopped for Harper’s entire fall wardrobe. I may be more excited for her clothes than mine. I’ll be doing a blog post on everything I ordered, so stay tuned!

Harper Started Digital Preschool

Harper started BümoBrain last week and I couldn’t be more proud of her. We’re doing 2 different classes a week – BumoBeats and Reading Camp. By day 2 Harper was much more comfortable with the interaction and setting. I’ll report back after we’ve done a few weeks.

Kitchen Remodel

If you didn’t catch it on Stories, we’re remodeling our kitchen! We’re at the beginning stages – sourcing inspiration, secured a contractor, picked out our counter tops, and have a start date (Early October). We aren’t restructuring the kitchen at all, but simply giving it a face lift – making it so it fits with the rest of the house/our style. This isn’t our forever home, so we’re going to work with what we have. I can’t wait to take you on this journey with us.

Our Place Cookware

We just received Our Place cookware and I’m obsessed! It’s non-toxic and the aesthetic is beautiful. The pan works amazing, everything cooks so well in it. The bowls are my absolute favorite! I can’t wait to see these in our new kitchen!
