The Jacket You’ll Need This Spring
Happy Friday, friends! How is everyone doing? This is such a strange time for all of us, but I hope you’re safe and well. To lighten the mood and bring back some normalcy I’m sharing a post with Everlane today. You guys know how much I love Everlane and they recently introduced a few new products I’m excited to share with you – their new denim chore jacket, the Day mules (so comfortable!), and the cotton crew in this new cashew color. Read on for more!
Everlane Chore Jaket xs, Everlane Cotton Crew small (runs small and narrow), Everlane Super Straight Jeans 24 (cut hems), Everlane Day Loafer 5, Everlane Form Crossbody
One of the bigger trends this spring is the Chore jacket. I actually have a chore jacket from last year, but I’ve been seeing them from more and more brands right now. I want to say the Chore jacket is a mix between a denim and utility jacket. It’s lightweight, slightly oversized, comfortable, and makes for the perfect spring layer. This one from Everlane is SO soft and drapes really nicely. I took the xs for more of an oversized fit. I think once I wash it, it will fit perfectly. The Bone colorway is more of beige with a hit of yellow and it also comes in dark indigo. If you’re looking for a new lightweight layer for spring, I highly recommend this one!
I’m also super pumped about the new Day mule. If you remember, Everlane came out with the Day loafer last year. I’m so happy they brought it back as a mule because you all know how much I love a mule. These fit TTS, but do run a tad narrow. I took my normal size and they’re comfortable right out of the box. If you’re looking to mix up your stripe tees, the cotton crew in the cashew/white stripe is perfect for spring. This style runs long, narrow, and is more fitted. I sized up to a small (and probably won’t dry it). The neckline does run a little snug, but I didn’t have any issues getting in on. It’s lightweight and breathable, great for warm weather.
I should also mention, Everlane is having a sale on denim. Select styles are only $50, including the pair I’m wearing here, the Super Straight jeans. If you’ve been thinking about trying Everlane jeans, now’s the time!
