The Perfect Booties

I spotted these booties while browsing the new Rag & Bone store on Fillmore and completely fell in love. I’ve been wanting a pair of low heel booties for years, but I’ve been hesitant because of my short athletic legs. I tried a pair from Sam Edelman a couple years ago and ended up returning them for various reasons and haven’t tried any since. But, when I spotted the Sullivans I knew they were perfect! Low profile ankle, perfect heel height, and the color is all kinds of AMAZING. These do run big and take a couple of wears to get comfortable, but once you break them in, they’re awesome.

While these booties still cut off my legs, I decided to come to terms with it (something I can’t change) and just wear what I want. It’s taken me 30 years to accept it, but I think I’m finally okay with the situation. I love the way these dress down dresses and add some edge to skinny jeans or shorts. I’m actually so obsessed with the bootie look, I already have my eyes on this pair from Joie!

The Sullivans have quite a hefty price tag, but I knew I would get a ton of wear out of them. Plus, when you’ve been looking for the perfect shoe for years, you gotta go with what you love.
