I recently teamed up with Lucy to showcase how to take some of their most versatile pieces from the, Do Everything Collection, from workout to errands or lunch with girlfriends. I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but workout wear has really taken on a whole new look and feel. Yes, they’re still functional and great for working out, but I love that styles have a more athleisure/lifewear feel to them, where pieces can transition really seamlessly.
What’s also nice about workout wear that can transition to daywear is you don’t have to pack as much while traveling. While staying in the city for a leisure weekend a few weeks back I was able to keep the packing extremely light as my workout clothes were cute and functional enough to get me through the days. San Francisco requires you to be on your feet constantly, so it made sense to keep things comfortable. Lucy’s Stand Strong jacket is the perfect piece to get you from a hike to lunch. It’s comfortable, light, and airy, but has the bomber styling with functional pockets. We all know I can never get enough stripes, so it’s a no brainer I’m obsessed with the Workout Tee. It has the moisture-wicking fabric, so it’s great for sweating, but the scoop neck and skimming silhouette keeps it appropriate for everyday wear. And lastly, one of the most comfortable tops ever, the Final Rep Long Sleeve. I threw this on after a run to keep warm for a quick stop at the farmers market. While simple in appearance, the drop shoulder style gives it a more drapey and over-sized look, making it one of the most comfortable workout tops I’ve ever worn.
