Weekend Recap 14

Happy Monday! I’m actually super excited to get back to work today. Mike was out of town all weekend (actually, since Thursday) and I was starting to go crazy only talking to my dogs. This might seem ridiculous, but taking care of 2 dogs by yourself is not that easy. They’re on a schedule, so I have to keep up with it on the solo and they’re so demanding. Is this the norm or are we crazy dog people? I always feel bad, like they need constant attention. Good thing for them I dropped all work over the weekend to snuggle, play, walk, and even take them on car rides.

S H O P  T H E  P O S T :

I did manage to get out of the house to get my nails done and go shopping with my aunt. I went to my normal nail salon, which I typically love, but I had a new girl do my nails and she didn’t do a great job. I hate when that happens! Some other highlights from the weekend – catching up on dvr’d shows, watching the NBA playoffs, and getting the best snuggles from Riley. That guy is obsessed with Mike. I’ve never seen an obsession quite like it. So, whenever Mike is away (not often), I secretly get excited for all the attention Riley will give me. He’s such a sweet and cuddly boy and I soaked up every minute of it. He’s the type that will nudge your hand to continue petting him. I mean!!!

Alright, that’s enough about my dogs. Apologies if you’re not a dog person. I promise next week’s weekend recap will be more well rounded ;)
