Natalie introduced me to West End Tap & Kitchen months ago and every time I’m in Santa Cruz I can’t help but think of it. Their market salad is the most interesting yet prettiest thing I’ve ever seen and they have the cutest outside dining area.  Over the weekend we stopped in again and while I get the same thing every time, Nat convinced me to try the ginger beer. Considering I’m gluten-free, I never would have thought to order it, but I did (risking all the adverse side effects of gluten), and it was so worth it. Spicy and ginger-y and just all kinds of amazing! If you’re ever in the area, I’d highly recommend stopping in.
