10 Items from 2019 I’m Excited to Rewear this Fall

I’ve been slowly building my versatile and neutral wardrobe for about 4-5 years now. I’ve mentioned it many times before, but if you’re new around here, I like to find missing pieces in my wardrobe and fill those in with classic pieces that I know I’ll get a ton of wear out of. So, today’s blog post is dedicated to my favorite pieces from 2019 that I’m excited to re-wear this fall. A lot of times I share new purchases, but I can’t forget about the real MVP’s of my closet, the pieces that stand the test of time. Many of them are still in-stock, but if they aren’t, I shared similar options for you.

1. Loeffler Randall Isla Boots

I got these at the end of last winter, so I’m excited to give them the attention they deserve. The perfect brown bootie to pair with cropped jeans. I love the style and shape of these and the quality is impeccable.

2. Abercrombie & Fitch Sherpa Coat

I wore this to death last year and will probably do the same this year. Although I did order more sherpa coats from A&F. This is a great knee length coat for petites.

3. Court & Rowe Stripe Sweater

This sweater is no longer available, but man I love this piece so much. It’s such a statement piece and looks amazing anytime I wear it. If you’re looking for a nautical stripe sweater, I did just order this one too (because you can’t ever have enough stripe sweaters).

4. Aritzia Charlize Coat

The coat of all coats. The coat that I get most asked about. This Charlize coat is AMAZING. This color is chasm, but I actually preordered the heather bone color last year, so I have it in 2 colors now. A statement piece, perfectly oversized, comfortable to layer pieces under, this coat is really everything. The wool does peel over time, but I just take my fabric shave to it.

5. Topshop Black Blazer

Another item from last year that didn’t get enough wears. I love the oversized, masculine look to this blazer. Topshop always has great outerwear and this blazer is no exception. It’s sold out in petite sizes, but here’s a very similar option from J.Crew

6. J.Crew Ella Coatigan

I just detailed this coatigan in this blog post, but yes love this fall transitional piece. It’s a great layer and the color could not say fall more.

7. Lioness Plaid Blazer

Plaid blazers could not be more fall, am I right? I didn’t get to wear this one a ton last year, so I’m excited to pull it out more. It’s from last year, but I did just order another plaid blazer, so stay tuned to see that one.

8. Everlane Alpaca Sweater

I recently talked about this sweater in this post here, but in case you didn’t know, this sweater is my absolute favorite! Perfectly oversized and so cozy.

9. Paige Snake Print Boots

I bought these last winter and didn’t get a ton of time to wear them. I LOVE this style of boot – pointed toe with a skinny mid calf shaft that pair so well with straight legged cropped jeans. And the creamy white and black snake print is the perfect pop of neutral. They’re also super comfortable.

10. Anine Bing Sweatshirts

I’m embarrassed to share how many times I’ve worn my Anine Bing sweatshirts in the last couple of weeks. To be fair though, I do own 5. These are the most comfortable sweatshirts of all time! They’re so comfortable and perfectly oversized.
