What is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a one-time sale where Nordstrom offers brand new fall styles at deeply discounted prices. Once the sale is over, everything goes back to full price. It’s a great opportunity to get a head start on your fall wardrobe.

When is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale begins with Early Access on July 12th through July 19th. To get Early Access you need to be a Nordstrom Card Holder. More on this below. Public Access, which is when anyone can shop the sale, begins on July 20th through August 5th. Prices go back up on August 6th. 

How can I shop the sale?

There are several ways to shop the sale. You can shop in-store, but keep in mind the sale attracts a lot of attention, so it will be crowded. You can shop online, which happens to be my favorite way to shop. Things sell out very quickly, so make sure you’re online early. Nordstrom offers free shipping and returns, which makes the online process so nice. They also offer $9 2-day shipping, which I happen to use often, and $15 next day shipping. You can also shop online and pick-up in-store. There’s an option for this when you go to checkout.

Who is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale for?

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is for EVERYONE. They mark down products from the Women’s, Men’s, Kid’s, Beauty, and Home department. It’s the perfect time to invest in fall staples, get a head start on holiday shopping, or buy the most coveted boots for the upcoming season.

What is early access?

Early Access allows you to shop the sale 8 days earlier than everyone else! This also means you’ll be able to shop the sale before all your favorites sell out!

When is early access?

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Early Access is the BEST way to shop the sale. EARLY ACCESS starts on July 12th and ends July 19th. Because things sell out super fast, Early Access is a great way to ensure you at least snag a couple of your favorites from the sale.

How do I get early access?

In order to get early access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale you must be a Nordstrom Card Holder. Nordstrom offers 3 types of cards, all of which are detailed below. You’re thinking, not another card, right? Well, I have 2 of these cards and if you’re a Nordstrom shopper, they pay off so much.

How do I get a Nordstrom card?

Nordstrom offers 3 types of card. Any one of the cards will allow for early access. You can apply for a Nordstrom Card here.

Nordstrom Retail Card – The retail card is linked to your bank account and works similar to a debit card. This card can only be used at Nordstrom stores and online. You get 2x points per dollar spent.

Nordstrom Platinum Card – This is like a typical credit card. You can use this card anywhere Visa is accepted. You will get 2x points per dollar spent at Nordstrom stores or online and 1x point everywhere else.

Nordstrom Visa Signature – This card works the same as the Platinum card above, but you get special Visa Signature benefits. These include travel promotions and preferred access to events.
