What to Wear to a Fall Wedding
A couple weeks ago I polled you on Instagram Stories asking what types of events you want outfit inspiration for this holiday season. I received an overwhelming amount of responses and I’m so excited to start sharing these outfit ideas with you. First up, fall weddings. Maxi dresses have been my favorite type of dress to wear to weddings. They’re classy, comfortable, and appropriate – how can you go wrong?

This dress from Gal Meets Glam is a dream. The petite size fits like a glove and the quality is amazing. I’m just still in shock at how well this dress fits. As a petite, finding maxi dresses that fit has always been really hard. I love the deep red, burgundy color – so perfect for this time of year. I would normally save florals for summer/spring, but the color really makes it fall appropriate.
How to pick a wedding guest dress for this time of year? I actually think finding a dress for a wedding in the fall is easier. You don’t have an overwhelming amount of dresses to choose from and you have to make them weather appropriate. I will 99% of the time choose something with long sleeves – I want to be as warm as possible and it makes finding a jacket less important. It’s also about the color and material. Choose something in a deeper hue or try heavier fabrics – think velvet! It’s also the time of year where black doesn’t seem so boring. There’s so many pretty black dresses out right now!
