Chelsea wrote in a couple weeks ago asking if I could style her J.Crew striped dress 3 different ways. She typically wears it alone, so I really tried to add layers for dimension and an unexpected twist. One of my favorite ways to reinvent my dresses is to either throw on a jacket or sweater, so the dress is now used as a skirt, or pair it with a skirt, so the dress is used as a top. This way of styling can be tricky, but it also encourages a more creative/ think-outside-of-the-box way to get dressed. You also get a ton more use out of your dresses =).
