I did a similar post like this last year and you guys seemed to love it. Looking back on outfits can be interesting. There’s hits, but there’s a ton of misses, too. While going through looks from each month, you can tell fall and winter are my favorite seasons. It’s where I feel most confident and comfortable. Give me all the layers! I’m still working on how to find my style in spring and summer. Last year I really wanted to work on my summer style, and unfortunately, I’m still not happy with it. I’m giving myself a break considering my belly started growing then and I had limited options. Summer style can be hard. You don’t get to layer and if you don’t wear a ton of dresses or skirts, there’s not many options other than shorts paired with tops. You’ll have to stay tuned to see what happens this year…

This year I’m really excited to see how my motherhood impacts my style. I 100% have a feeling there will be more loafers, sneakers, and sweatshirts. Comfort is everything and I want to be able to function, but still look cute. Oh and did I mention, I’m just so ecstatic to get back into my normal clothes!!! I know this might not be the same for every new mom, but getting dressed has always been my happy place. Putting together outfits, building a versatile wardrobe, and investing in classics – I definitely enjoy the process, which is probably why I do this for a living, lol. To say I’m looking forward to wearing everything in my closet again, is a huge understatement.
If you have anything you want to see from me this year, please let me know. Do you want to see more athleisure looks? Or maybe roundups of me wearing 1 item multiple ways. On a side note, I would love to hear your thoughts on whether you prefer camera photos or iphone/Instagram photos here on the blog. Or maybe it doesn’t matter. Let me know and cheers to more fun outfits in 2018!
